Prakash Bolakhe comes from a family with a history of creating textiles in Nepal for a long generation. As a child, he learned traditional handicraft skills from his grandfather. Inspired by these experiences, he founded Castello Cashmere Industries specializing in high-quality, handmade cashmere goods. He also opened boutique stores (Factory Outlet) in Kathmandu and worked with international partners to gain valuable insights. Guiding other Nepalese businesses to adapt to global markets and teaching courses at universities are fulfilling endeavors for him. His future projects align with his values and commitment to the natural environment, as he aims to positively impact on the world.
Hence, he collaborated with his spiritual partner Andrew Boniface, whom he met during his first visit to Nepal as spiritual journey with Guru Markandeya Das (Mark Herlaar) . They jointly decided to promote Nepal and its exclusive Cashmere by Creating their Brand named “Lomanthang Cashmere” the fibers came from Lo Manthang , Mustang , Nepal. They also aim to help Nepali artisan and assist them in growing both individually and spiritually.
