Hand Linking

A meticulous process involves linking each tiny knit loop at the end of every garment by hand. This technique is popular for finishing seams or achieving a seamless appearance. It ensures that the seams are smooth, straight, and strong, preventing the garment from losing its shape even after years of regular wear.

Linkers use large-eyed, often curved needles designed to work with a yarn weight similar to that used in the garment’s knitting. For example, a linker with 5 points per inch will require yarn of comparable diameter or count to that used on a domestic knitting machine.

At Lomanthang Cashmere, we have highly skilled in-house artisans who hand-link all our products, ensuring a high-quality finish.
