Mending

Mending involves repairing the imperfections that occur in knitted products. It is a valuable but often overlooked skill that addresses various faults encountered during garment production. Essentially, it involves weaving together warp and weft yarn using a hand needle to fix tears and small holes in garments.

Our knitted products go through several steps with our garments and usually perform any necessary mending during the quality check. Our employees in the warehouse handle the mending of knitted garments using a needle with a ballpoint. This needle can penetrate the fabric structure, while the blunt tip prevents tearing through the fibers in the weave.
