Lomanthang (3,840 m) is a rural municipality in Mustang district in Gandaki Province of western Nepal. It is located at the northern end of the district, bordering the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north and Dalome rural municipality of Mustang in the south.
The name “ Lomanthang “ based on Geography of Mustang district of Nepal . The major source of Chyangra Goat farming of Nepal and first fiber collection of Nepal. As cashmere manufacturer we are very emotionally connected with the people and Himalayan goat of Lomanthang.

Lomanthag Cashmere products made from fibers of Himalayan goats –a goat that lives up in the Mustang District where the nature has provided these animals such fibers –is a symbol of status, wealth , good for health as well as spiritual growth.

Product Specifications
Softness
With a diameters between 12 to 19 micron, Cashmere is amongst the finest fibers the world has to offer. Our products are as soft as butter.
Lightness
The extremely fine hairs makes cashmere not only warmer and softer than most other fabrics but also does so while staying light as a feather.
Raw material
Normally we use different count of yarn for cashmere as raw material. We receive directly raw gross fiber from Lo Manthang , Mustang and processing in Lalitpur into fine fiber through our traditional processing unit and we hand spun and twisted through the communities women groups .
Yarn Count: The thickness of yarn is called yarn count. Let’s say,
A) 26/1 nm means that 1 gram of fabric elongates up to 26m.
Generally, our products have following yarn counts:
Hand spun yarn , 1/14nm , 2/14nm , 1/20nm , 2.20nm , 2/26/nm, other required yarn count.
Gauge (gg)
The thickness, size, or capacity of something, especially as a standard measure, in particular machine. Popular machine gauge used in Nepal are 2.5gg, 4gg, 5gg, 6gg,7gg, 8gg, 12gg, 14gg, 16gg, and others.

o Colors obtained without dyeing the fabrics like light , medium and dark brown , raw white.
· Solid colors:
o Colors obtained from hand pot dyeing from Swiss dyes which are AZO free
