We are committed to delivering your 100% handmade Nepali cashmere products safely and efficiently. Below are our policies for shipping, delivery, returns, and refunds. As a small, Kathmandu-based business, we ship worldwide using reliable international couriers.
Shipping Policy
Shipping Methods & Carriers We primarily use trusted international couriers such as DHL, FedEx, or similar express services for secure and trackable delivery. Shipping is handled from our location in Kritipur, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, order weight, and selected shipping method.
- We offer free shipping on orders over USD 150 (or equivalent in selected currency) to many destinations—check during checkout for eligibility.
- For smaller orders or remote areas, standard rates apply (typically USD 20–60 depending on destination and speed).
Delivery Times (Estimated) Delivery times start after your order is processed and dispatched (usually within 1–3 business days).
- USA & Canada: 4–10 business days (express)
- Europe: 4–12 business days
- Australia & New Zealand: 5–14 business days
- Asia (excluding Nepal): 3–8 business days
- Other international destinations: 7–21 business days
Note: These are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, holidays (e.g., Dashain, Tihar in Nepal, or major global holidays), weather, or carrier issues. We provide a tracking number via email once your order ships.
Order Processing
- Orders are processed Monday–Friday (excluding Nepali public holidays).
- Custom or made-to-order items may take additional 3–7 days to prepare.
- We will email you with any updates if there are delays.
Customs, Duties & Taxes International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT/GST, or brokerage fees imposed by their country’s customs authorities. These are not included in our shipping costs or product prices. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before ordering.
Shipping Restrictions We ship to most countries worldwide. However, we reserve the right to cancel or not ship to certain restricted destinations due to carrier limitations or sanctions.
Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to love your Lomanthang Cashmere purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer returns under the following conditions:
Return Window
- 30 days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return (most items).
- Contact us first at info@lomanthangcashmere.com with your order number and reason for return.
Eligible for Return
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, unused, with all original tags attached, and in original packaging/condition.
- Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).
Non-Returnable Items
- Final sale/clearance items (clearly marked as such)
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Intimate apparel or hygiene-related items
- Items damaged due to customer misuse or improper care
Return Process
- Email us at info@lomanthangcashmere.com to request a return authorization and instructions.
- Pack the item securely (we recommend using the original packaging if possible).
- Ship the return to our address in Kathmandu (we will provide the exact return address).
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect (in which case we cover return shipping and provide a prepaid label where possible).
- Once we receive and inspect the item (usually within 5–10 business days), we will process your refund or exchange.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Processing time: 5–10 business days after inspection (plus additional time for your bank/credit card to reflect the credit).
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable (except in cases of our error).
- For defective/wrong/damaged items: We offer a full refund, replacement, or store credit at our discretion.
Exchanges We happily offer exchanges for size/color issues (subject to availability). Contact us to check stock before returning.
Defective or Damaged Items If your item arrives damaged or is defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the issue and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including return shipping) at no extra cost to you.
